Because of the growing concern to provide adequate septic treatment while protecting the environment, many local health departments are requiring pretreatment systems as an alternative to the traditional septic tank/drainfield system. They are also finding that a large number of septic systems are not being maintained on a regular basis. Engineered wastewater treatment systems using current technology provide solutions to both of these challenges.

Peace Of Mind: REMOTE MONITORING
Every wastewater system needs maintenance. This main-tenance can vary from having your septic tank pumped to checking the operation of your floats and control panel on the more complex systems. Remote telemetry control panels connected to a telephone line in the home have made maintaining these complex systems much easier. With a remote telemetry panel installed on your wastewater system, Stephens Consulting Services, P.C. can monitor your systems flow, pumps, switches, and alarms without ever leaving our office. Whether youre out-of-town on vacation, or simply want the peace of mind that your system is being managed, we can access the computer operating the controls over the phone line to ensure that everything is functioning properly.
Modular Sand Filters
The Modular Sand Filter (MSF) utilizes sand filter technology that has been successful on the west coast for the last 15-20 years. The MSF is unique because it has been pre-packaged and pre-engineered by Stephens Consulting Services, P.C. All of the complicated plumbing has been pre-assembled and shipped to the site ready for installation, making the installation quicker and easier. The plans for this system are easily adapted to fit nearly any site. They are designed to accommodate flows from a single-family home or installed to recirculate the flow to handle larger homes or commercial facilities. The MSF can be easily configured to blend into the surrounding landscaping. The MSF offers these advantages over cus-tom designed sand filter systems:
LITTLE OR NO UP-FRONT DESIGN DELAYS
LITTLE OR NO UP-FRONT ENGINEERING COSTS
INSTALLED AND SERVICED BY A NETWORK
OF TRAINED CONTRACTORS
REDUCED INSTALLATION TIME
